555 KUBIK was the title of a facade video projection at the Kunsthalle in Hamburg (Germany), taking place last May. The idea behind it was: “How it would be, if a house was dreaming”. Found at today and tomorrow.

Do-Ho Suh had stretched sheer red nylon to create a false ceiling. Suspended from the center was a fullsize set of fabric stairs, with a door at the bottom, looking like an entrance into an invisible attic. Up close, there were all sorts of neat details, like electrical fittings and a lamp shade. Found at Don’t Panic.

James Clar’s installation called “Portal” creates a doorway from a diffuser screen and has abstract lines of light that travel back and forth through the door, bouncing around the room. Beautiful.
